MISSIONS
M1: To produce quality mechanical engineers by adopting sound teaching and learning process which gives them power to think and analyze making them competitive.
M2: To bridge the gap between industries’s need and the academic curriculum by providing students the workplace exposure through various workshop and industrial interaction and by up-skilling the faculty by consistently motivating them to attend various FDps and doing academic research.
M3: To build a strong practical foundation of students to use latest technologies through lab exposure by maximum utilization of the available resources.
M4: To develop the habit of continues learning and team work by means of regular quizzes, mini project and final project work.

Mechanical engineering (ME) is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.
The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided engineering and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transportsystems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, weapons, medical devices, and others.
The scope of Mechanical Engineering is ever expanding with advancement in the areas of computer aided design (CAD), robotics and flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) besides wide employment opportunities in manufacturing industries, oil and gas production companies, aeronautical field, cement industries, chemical industries, heavy machinery sector, construction field and defense. Therefore, the educational objectives for Mechanical Engineering program are designed to cover fundamental and vital areas of importance, relevant to both industry and research.

Eligibility :- Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P . Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject mbination (2 compulsory 1 optional taken together).
Direct Admission to Second Year for Engineering Diploma holder & B.Sc Graduates :-
[a] Candidates who have passed three years Engg. Diploma in any branch of engineering except Agriculture from any recognized Institution by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks, are eligible for admission to second year in any branch of engineering.
[b] Candidates who have passed three years B.Sc. degree from any recognized University and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject securing minimum 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering/Technology
